M&P participated in the South Africa Business Forum in Cairo, held as part of the Outward Selling and Investment Mission hosted by the Embassy of South Africa in Egypt, with the participation of Invest South Africa, the national agency mandated to promote investment and trade.
The forum brought together a distinguished group of stakeholders, including:
- H.E. ntsiki joseph mashimbye, Ambassador of South Africa to Egypt
Representatives from Egypt’s Commercial Service, officials from South Africa’s Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC), and a delegation of South African companies operating across energy, infrastructure, logistics, technology, and manufacturing also took part in the discussions.
Conversations focused on practical avenues to strengthen economic cooperation between Egypt and South Africa, highlighting opportunities in renewable energy, infrastructure and logistics integration, industrial development, digital sectors, and cross-border trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
The forum provided a valuable platform to promote M&P’s Africa engagement and connect with stakeholders exploring investment, partnerships, and market expansion across the African continent.
As Africa’s economic landscape continues to evolve, platforms like this reinforce the importance of strategic dialogue in unlocking real cross-border opportunity.
