Held in Cairo, the first of its kind workshop featured a keynote speech by Dr. Ghada Labib (Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology). It was also honored by the presence of Dr. Khaled Sherif (Assistant Minister of Tourism for Digital Transformation); Dr. Hussam Abdel Ghaffar (Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population), MP Dr. Abla Al Alfy, MP Dr. Maha Abdelnasser, Dr. Reem Bahgat (President of the Egyptian University of Informatics) and Dr. Marianne Azer (Associate Professor, Nile University).
The workshop was attended by high-level participants from Government, NGOs, and academia including: the Egyptian House of Representatives, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), Egypt, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of International Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities, Ministry of Health & Population, National Council for Women, Supreme Council for Antiquities, Nahdet El Mahrousa, Greenish, Enviro X, Very Nile, CARE Foundation, Ain El Bee’ah and HEPCA, University of Informatics, and Nile University.
